What does the job involve?
The job is sales focused and you will be, in effect running your own small business. You will initially spend the majority of time learning a business sector through the sourcing of suitable candidates under the direct guidance and supervision of your manager. In parallel we will teach you how to develop your own client base through effective sales calls and how to grow these accounts further.
Do I need any prior knowledge?
All training will be provided by us throughout your career with Shorterm.
Is recruitment a career?
Most definitely. Recruitment is a £30 billion industry. Shorterm is a meritocracy. You will progress dependant on the results you achieve and there are a number of directions your career can go in. Our current CEO started in the industry as a trainee and is a firm believer in promoting from within the organisation.
What training do you provide?
Our training never stops. As a trainee who is new to the industry you will go through a detailed induction and then be placed on a comprehensive 13 week training plan where you learn how to do the job. Thereafter there will be continual training based on your development needs as your career progresses with Shorterm.
