Huge Database Of Registered Candidates
In May 2009, Data Select was frustrated by the lack of suitable staff being sent by the incumbent agency – and the fact they were never seeing the same people twice. So we set about creating a pool of local workers, just for them. As always, we started by searching through our huge database of registered candidates to see who we already know in the local area. We then rang the people on our books to ask if they had other friends or family nearby who were looking for work.
Short Notice Workforce
Data Select’s workload is highly unpredictable, so their labour requirements can change from hour to hour, let alone day to day. On a slow day they might ask us to send five workers, and on a busy day this could rise to 30. We therefore have a pool of around 60 people that we use to provide a short notice workforce, sending text messages to alert individuals when they are required on site.
Increased Productivity And Efficiency
We have managed to keep a steady pool of workers available for Data Select, and they have seen increased productivity and efficiency as a result, because they are regularly using people with experience of their company and processes.
Perfectly Placed
With our pool of workers just a text message away, we are perfectly placed to provide large numbers of high calibre staff at very short notice.
